I leaped up, aiming for the head of the charging Green Dragon, and slammed my staff down. However, the Green Dragon didn't flinch from my attack and effortlessly batted me away with its massive body. I was bounced off the Green Dragon's body and slammed to the ground.

The Green Dragon stopped after batting me away, then approached me once it spotted me. Before the Green Dragon could get too close, I got up and readied my staff. Then, the Green Dragon took its eyes off me and turned its neck to the left.

(This is bad!)

By the time I realized it, it was too late. From my right side, the Green Dragon's tail was lashing like a whip, about to strike me.

The tip of the tail had a round lump larger than me, covered in countless needle-like protrusions. If hit with that much force, it would be a fatal blow. Instead of dodging, I performed a bash directly at the Green Dragon's tail.

Using the recoil from the impact of my staff and the tail, I was able to put some distance between myself and the Green Dragon. The Green Dragon finished turning and, seeing me, lowered its body to the ground.

My judgment was slow in figuring out what the Green Dragon was doing, and only when the Green Dragon raised its neck did I finally understand.

The Green Dragon swung its neck down as if aiming at me and spit out a lump of fire. Even jumping to the right with all my might to avoid it, I still felt the tremendous heat and blast of air when the breath landed on the ground.
