Fist King: I Will Save the Earth from Zero in Another Reincarnation, Starting from Real World

Swordsman Junior High School Arc ⑩ Izu Hunt Concluded

Leaving my mother in the car, my father and I, along with five others in protective gear—a total of seven—headed into the field.

The youngest man was pulling a large rickshaw behind him.

I walked at the front, with the other six following behind me.

When we arrived at the field, we found two Warwolves around the fallen Grizzly.

Upon confirming the monsters, all five people who arrived in the truck readied their guns, preparing to shoot.

Just as I was about to call out to stop them, my father spread his hands to stop them instead.

"Kazuya, can you handle it?"

"It's fine. Leave it to me."

Answering my father, I slowly began to walk towards the Warwolves.

Behind us, the bearded man was asking my father if he was sane.

My father told the bearded man to just watch quietly.

"Come on."

As I approached the Warwolves and provoked them, the two Warwolves charged at me simultaneously.

I drew my sword and thrust it into the mouth of the first Warwolf as it pounced.

That killed the Warwolf, and I threw the impaled Warwolf at the second Warwolf, knocking it to the ground.

Holding down the Warwolf that had fallen to the ground with my foot, I decapitated it, finishing off the two Warwolves.

Checking the surroundings, there seemed to be no other monsters.

As I approached the six people huddled at the field's entrance, they all looked at me without speaking.

I wanted them to collect the bodies quickly, so I spoke to the five people who were standing there dumbfounded in their protective gear.

"Excuse me, please add those too."

"Yes..."

The bearded man barely managed to speak, and they began loading the monsters I had defeated onto the rickshaw.

As expected, all five of them managed to load the Grizzly, which was over four meters long, onto the rickshaw.

Back where the truck was parked, as they were loading the monsters from the rickshaw into the truck, the bearded man spoke to my father.

"Since these monsters will be put up for auction, the payment will be slightly delayed."

"That's fine, please proceed."

"Also, the payment will be the auction price minus 30%, which accounts for the pickup fee, dismantling fee, and auction fee."

"Yes, I understand."

I watched as my father handled the business exchange.

When their discussion seemed to be over, the bearded man asked my father as a final point.

"Is it all right for you to receive this payment?"

"No, please make it out to my son."

When the bearded man heard that from my father, he then approached me and tried to hand me a board.

Wondering what it was, I took the board, and the bearded man pointed to a section.

"...Please sign here."

"Understood."

I filled in my name where the bearded man instructed, then returned the board.

The bearded man took the board and asked me, as if confirming:

"Payment will be made at the 1st Ward Office. Please be sure to bring identification."

"Understood. Thank you."

After that exchange, the bearded man got into the truck and drove off.

After seeing them off, my father told me to head home, so we got in the car and returned.

During the drive home, I had something I wanted to ask my father, so I did.

"Dad, you said the Grizzly was an E-rank monster, but what are ranks?"

"That's the country ranking monsters by their danger level."

"Oh, so is E-rank strong?"

"E-rank is strong, but..."

After saying that, my father fell silent.

There was nothing else to do, so I looked up monster ranks on my smartphone.

Monster Danger Levels

S-rank: Said to have annihilated all life on Earth. None currently exist.

A-rank: Exists deep within dungeons; if they rampage, a country will be destroyed.

B-rank: Has the potential to destroy towns.

C-rank: Has the ability to destroy buildings such as skyscrapers.

D-rank: Has abilities like splitting the ground.

E-rank: Can destroy human bodies; requires multiple adventurers to handle.

F-rank: General adventurers can fight them.

G-rank: Even ordinary people can fight them.

H-rank: Harmless to humans.

While I was researching monsters, it seemed we had arrived home.

I got out of the car, and since both my parents looked extremely tired, I decided to help them put away the luggage.

I picked up my sword and told my parents I wanted to help them put away the luggage.

My parents thanked me and handed me the luggage.
